Overview of the Challenge
Traditional enterprise analytics platforms were not moving as fast as the analytics field overall and could not keep up with company needs. Being captive to a single provider also did not allow the company to leverag a variety of technologies. Developing on top of an open source platform was key to a next generation analytics strategy.
